Hoyt Construction Inc./Hoyt Exteriors, Inc., located in Apple Valley, MN, is a professional, high-end roofing, siding, decks, and window installation company and has been in business for 25 years. This family-owned business is led by founder, Paul Hoyt, and 2nd generation, Levi Hoyt, who share a common customer centric philosophy. Due to high growth, Hoyt is adding a Service Technician, to join the team. The position reports to the Service Manager and as one member of the team, will share in repairing siding, windows, roofing, and general repairs on townhomes located within the 100+ HOA’s the company currently contracts with.

To assure success in this role, the individual will have skills working on home exteriors and enjoy working on a variety of projects. The company provides a company van to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities:

• Travel to local client sites (mostly south and southeast of the Twin Cities) to perform general repairs.
• Communicate and coordinate with customers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Support project manager and service coordinator when needed.
• Obtain specifications and order supplies when needed.
• Other duties as needed.
• Keep work areas clean.

Key Qualifications:

• 3+ years of construction experience.
• Organized in handling multiple schedules with high proficiency.
• General knowledge and proficiency with the Microsoft suite.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Overall construction knowledge and ability to perform services.
